• We do not guarantee acceptance into any clinical trial
• We are not a healthcare provider or medical institution
• We do not employ physicians or clinical researchers

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

6. Study Applications

6.1 Application Process

When you apply to a clinical trial through our platform:

• Your contact information is shared with the research facility
• The research facility conducts all screening and enrollment
• Acceptance is solely determined by the research facility
• We are not involved in the screening or selection process

6.2 No Guarantee of Acceptance

Applying through PayTrials does NOT guarantee:

• That you will be contacted by the research facility
• That you will be accepted into the study
• That you will receive any compensation
• A specific response timeframe from research facilities

7. Compensation Information

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Compensation amounts displayed on our platform are estimates based on information provided by research facilities. Actual compensation may vary based on:

• Study completion (partial compensation may apply)
• Number of visits attended
• Specific procedures completed
• Early withdrawal or disqualification
• Changes to study protocol

PayTrials is not responsible for compensation disputes. All payment terms are determined by and between the participant and the research facility.

8. Medical Disclaimer

Clinical trial participation involves potential risks. You should:

• Carefully read informed consent documents
• Ask questions about risks and benefits
• Discuss participation with your doctor
• Understand that you can withdraw at any time
• Report any adverse events to the research team immediately

9. Intellectual Property

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAYTRIALS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits or income
• Loss of data or information
• Medical complications from trial participation
• Disputes with research facilities
• Non-payment or delayed payment of compensation

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PayTrials, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of our Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your participation in clinical trials
• Information you provide to research facilities
